D&H, like many roads, experimented with simpler paint schemes in an attempt to save some money. D&H 2311 was painted in a unique grey scheme which earned this unit the nickname the "grey ghost".
DH 4211 is west out of Allentown, and at the top of the grade at Emaus on the old Reading line.
